Doina is a lovely spot in Paris with delicious, well-prepared dishes. The atmosphere is warm, and Candide made the experience even better with his kind, attentive service. A great place to enjoy ameal.

Doïne is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, offering an authentic Romanian dining experience that feels like stepping into a warm, family-run home. This cozy, family-owned restaurant is not just about the food—it’s about the love and care that goes into every detail, from the warm welcome to the incredible flavors that transport you straight to Romania. The food is simply spectacular. Each dish is packed with flavor, the seasonings are beyond compare, and every bite reflects the passion that the family puts into their cooking. Whether it's traditional Romanian stews, fresh salads, or hearty mains, the food leaves you wanting more. The atmosphere is as comforting as the food itself. The rustic decor, filled with wooden accents, photos, and charming plates, creates a cozy and homely vibe. The tables and chairs are rustic yet incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with loved ones. Doïne has unfortunately received some negative reviews due to a mix-up with the neighboring Café Le Dôme, a tourist trap that has left many disappointed. Don’t be fooled—Doïne is a world apart, offering genuine hospitality and incredible food, making you feel like part of the family every time you visit. If you’re looking for a place where you can feel at home, with lovingly prepared meals and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Doïne is the place to be.

Pork shoulder was really good, and everything is served with hot and perfectly cooked. Meat was juicy, service was amazing. With a partial view of the Eiffel Tower, sitting outside is also perfect for people watching. Would recommend!

Nestled in the heart of Paris at 149 Rue Saint-Dominique, Doina offers a genuine taste of Romania through its warm, family-run ambiance and skillfully crafted dishes. This cozy restaurant is far from the tourist traps nearby, providing an authentic dining experience that captures the soul of Romanian home cooking.

From the moment you step inside, the rustic wooden accents and charming decor invite you to slow down and savor every bite. The kitchen, helmed by the owner’s mother, serves hearty dishes like veal schnitzel with light, crispy batter, tender pork shoulder, and perfectly grilled chicken breast accompanied by hand-sliced fried potatoes. Each dish tells a story of tradition, care, and rich, layered flavors—a testament to the passion rooted in every recipe.

Standout highlights include the well-seasoned Romanian stews and fresh, vibrant salads, balanced beautifully with regional touches such as sharp Romanian mustard that elevates the meats. The desserts, especially the pavlova, leave a lasting impression with their delicate sweetness and refined texture.

Service at Doina is heartfelt and attentive. It is run by a husband and wife team who juggle every aspect of the restaurant with warmth and genuine hospitality. Their dedication shines through in small moments—like when the cook herself comes out to greet guests—making every visit a personal connection rather than just a meal.

Doina’s location offers a subtle Parisian charm, enhanced by a partial view of the Eiffel Tower that guests can enjoy when dining outside. This setting, combined with the authentic Romanian flavors and family-driven atmosphere, turns a visit into an immersive cultural experience.

If you seek honest, soulful food that nourishes both body and spirit, Doina is a hidden jewel worth discovering. It’s a place that feels like home—a rare find in the bustling culinary scene of Paris.
